One of my goals in making handmade books is to use up as much scrap material as I can. This book is an example of that. The covers are leftover from the large watercolor sheets I paint and then trim down and use for my Documented Life Journals. They are filled with high quality mixed media paper, 84 pages front and back, suitable for writing and journaling, collage and painting, or even light water colors. I've sewn it with a coptic binding, which lays flat when open. It measures a perfect pocket-sized 3 3/4" x 5".
