It can be used for writing, drawing, painting, art journaling ... whatever your little heart desires. I've sewn it with a Coptic binding so it lays completely flat when open. Because my goal is to repurpose as much of our cereal and snack boxes as I can, the back of this journal is flipped up side down from the front to make the best use of the box.
